By any chance do you have the recall #?, the bigger problem is that Dodge does not have the glass and no real date of when it will be available ��

Was it the first time you had used it? And again, this is my worry about our cars. Only 2 years out of production and already parts are indefinitely unavailable.

Had this happen to my 2016 ACR. Dealer replaced the glass twice – messed it up the first time and then the entire rear hatch and glass ~$10K+ – all under warranty. Good luck with your repair!

Thanks for the referral…. we had a new one 2-days from his NJ dealer and aranged to sell it to his Dodge dealer. We also have one here out West. Otherwise several months wait at Dodge Dealer, minimum.

This is an “early 2013” defroster-wire design issue only.
