I think you should provide the specs you want and any decent alignment shop with good modern equipment will be able to do it.

The best local alignement shop I have here plainly refused to give me advices on how to align my Viper, outside of the manufacturer’s specs (which is made for safety and fuel economy) because it depends of intended use (street, track, both) and how you like the car to behave. No magical recipe in the alignment world, unfortunately.

Right. You either want low wear on the street, max performance and acceptable wear on the track, or something in between.

I got tired of having my wallet regularly lightened up going from road to track alignments and never being satisfied. I finally invested in the tools to do it all myself.

The option I choose is to align to the spec I want for the track. And leave it there. The cost and time to move back and forth is not worth that 10% more wear you will get when street driving. Well unless you blast the brake pedal at stops signs, then you will lose the inside edges of your fronts. The car will track truer on trenched out streets too.

The viper tech that last aligned the car adjusted in inboard rear camber eccentric which is set from the factory and you are not supposed to change. To get the car to handle like stock again they need to set the dynamic alignment which involves more than ‘any shop with competent techs with modern eq” can handle.. need special tools and knowleadge..

What tools do you have to do it?

Thinking you should contact Wil Thorne. He has all the equipment to do a full jounce and rebound alignment.
