Thanks! Any idea of quality AERO parts, specifically a rear lip style trunk spoiler, aside from AutoForm…? New to this and parts are much more scarce than my Corvette for sure. Looking forward to playing with this thing!

Looking forward to playing with this thing!Welcome to the viper world. I have seen some autoform stuff and I can tell you I have always been impressed with the quality. Autoform had a g3 at our winter fest party this year that had the widebody, coupe rear conversion, g5 front, and a g4 hood. The car was absolutely stunning. It’s the grey/ blue vert on their website.

welcome! which part of Northern CA? I am located in Hayward. and any pix with the hard top? I wish I had a hard top but its out of my budget for a mod.I’m located in Vacaville. Photo with the hard top added, the car literally JUST showed up! FYI I will be painting it black and tinting the windows by Friday, so I’ll have some up by Monday. Stay tuned!

Is their lead time spot on or do things come more quickly? 2 months just seems a long time to produce a part, but I realize he may just be CYAing so people don’t complain on some of the parts. The hard top I have is from AutoForm and it’s DEFINITELY quality. Impressive for sure!

I'm soooooo jealous of your hard top!! and lol at the plastic bag. Where did you get the car shipped from? I bought mines from Van Meter, Iowa and had it shipped here.Yeah… he really took some care. The old owner helped packed it up in Arizona since they ran late picking it up… and said he took some pictures with it, lol. People love vipers.
Top is now black. Window tint set for tomorrow. Should make it pop! Wheels (Real ACRs/Low Gloss Black) next week!

Congrats! Welcome to the Viper family. You should also join the Norcal Viper Club, they have group gatherings and track sessions. Hope to meet you at a Viper gathering.when does registration for the events normally open? For example, the “Mt. Umunhum Cruise & Lunch” is 10 days away, yet when I click on “register” it says “Registration has not yet opened

Hey everyone! I hope y’all enjoyed your Easter (or Holiday) yesterday. My VERY FIRST Viper is currently shipping out to me. I flew out to AZ last week, drove it and handled the details of the purchase. It’s a 2004 “Mamba Edition” #184 of 200. The modifications list is in my signature. 19,000 miles and PERFECT front to back. Doesn’t even have a rock chip! Amazing really! I was able to attend a car show while out there and already feel like I’m joining a huge family!
Plan for the car is to clone the 2010 ACR convertible, hence the name I chose as a handle. I wont be using the spoiler, thought, I’ll be using the AutoForm rear lip spoiler, and keeping my OEM badging since it wont be a real ACR. Eventually it’ll make it’s way to a tuner and get the good old cam and heads treatment to squeeze some extra ponies out. Enjoy the pics of it and i look forward to updating them as I progress with the car. Wheels are already ordered and I’ll dive in the paint this week and next.
All feedback and advice greatly appreciated in advance. Looking forward to meeting some of y’all, too! happy Monday!
