There’s something about not hearing a V8 in my truck that’s a huge turn-off.
I’m ordering the TRX this week.
The ones hitting the dealerships now have $20,000 worth of extras I can do without, with the current depth of my pockets.. 😉 -

They are a lot of fun to drive after a tune, intake and downpipe.

Didn’t get a chance to watch reveal…just quickly read the press release and it seems to still have the Ecoboost 6 and didn’t see any mention of HP/TQ.
Did anything pop out? I’m assuming TRX still has more power, but wonder what’s the price point.

Basically the MY21 will be the same as the Gen II. The only difference being the new interior out of the MY21 F-150, optional 37″ tires and different suspension.
The Raptor R that will presumably have the V8 will be out next year, MY22.

disappointing updated v6 first and then adding a Raptor R model the next year with a v8. I’m guessing this is going to help trx sales..

There is only going to be a limited number of TRX sales regardless, and they’ll all sell.

18 Raptor here. Just crossed 80000 miles. By the end of this year I’ll hit 115/120000. Wouldn’t buy anything else or even any other f150. After 8 F150s this one is by far the nicest.

I'll be keeping my '17 Raptor. It's great even with the V6.I don’t disagree. Very nice driving trucks!

For me…I enjoying Ford pickups when the 460 and SC’d 5.3 was no longer an option.
V8 in my truck.
The direction Ford is heading I suspect I will never be buying another Ford anytime soon.
FGT – stupid V6 (not that I could afford one but really?!)
Raptor- stupid V6
Mustang – WTF…it’s morphing into Tesla wannabe
Continental – odd euro interior no V8? Exterior looked good.Last good thing Ford makes is the GT350 and GT500. The Focus RS was awesome.

The FGT is amazing. Can’t judge it until you drive one.
The Gen II and Gen III Raptor has more power and is quicker than the old 6.2L Gen I Raptor.
The Mustang and the Mustang Mach E, aren’t the same thing, nor were they intended to be. No idea why Ford chose to use the Mustang nameplate on their EV.
The Continental is a really sweet ride as well. I’m not a huge fan of all of the rounded edges rather than the squared off corners, but it drives insanely well. The 3.0L V6 is stout too. Can’t argue with you on the GT350 or GT500. I have a new one that will be here in a few months. The Focus RS was a blast, but it just wasn’t enough power, or was just a little too heavy. The Fiesta ST was actually more enjoyable to thrash around in.
Also, I’m Ford-biased. I own a Ford dealership.

It’s the sounds the V6’s make. It’s that same nails on a chalkboard level of awful. I can’t stand the sounds of other V6’s as well. Pentstar, Nissan, Jaguar, Cadillac you name it. But I always give credit where it’s due. The Coyote based motors dear God they sound good.
Don’t get me started on how lame electric cars are….but electric Boost-Turbo/Supercharger…I’m ok with that
Is Ford ever going to make Sync better than early i-Drive?

Whether we like it or not, “Le Trick” is the future. Enjoy your combustion engines while you can. As for the Ford GT, you can’t argue with winning. Cool clip from a few years back with Jay and Joey Hand.

If anyone is interested in whether or not Ford will come out and match/beat Rams new TRX.
I don’t think they’ll put the 5.2L SC V8 in it…I think they’ll have a high out Powerboost engine for it (Hybrid).
We’ll know soon though.
