Grant, it was a pleasure to meet with you…and, to see that this Beast has gone to good home, which means a lot to the previous owner.

I was recommended to this site by several local current and former Viper owners, so here I am. Proud owner of a black 03, roe cats, Belanger exhaust, eibach lowering springs, k&n intake, and sidewinder wheels.

The Viper has been my “realistic” dream car since it came out. I say “realistic,” because unless I hit the lotto, I’m never going to get an F40. I started collecting Viper diecast cars when I was 8 or 9 and now probably have at least 250…haven’t purchased any in the last 10years or so, but may have to start back up.

Anyways…Was looking all over the country for one and I managed to find one locally that was awesome. As I was literally on the phone preparing put a hold on it(I was out of town), Steve Fess turned me onto another local one with 6k miles, and pretty much all the immediate mods I wanted already done. Steve also managed to get me worked in to Champion Chrysler Jeep Dodge for a pre-purchase inspection and compression test. Wouldn’t have gotten into this place without Steve working his magic. Steve made several trips to his house to pick up a few things for the tech to aid the process along.

So as much as this is an introduction post, it’s also a public thanks and shout-out to Steve for all the help and advice he’s given in the last few weeks.

I’m truly ecstatic to finally have this car, and excited to be a part of this group. I look forward to meeting some of you. -Grant
