also thought I should mention that the car came with tires dot coded to 2003 in the front, and 2006 in the rear…….the oem spec run flats lol.

Congratulations! I was blown away the first time I saw a Gen 3. We were on vacation in Orlando, Easter 2003, and saw a silver ‘vert going in the opposite direction. I did a quick U turn and got my sister to film it driving along (it was followed by a black RT/10) I later saw them both at the Old Town cruise, and they were a husband and wife team.

I’m sure you know it, but change those old tyres as soon as finances allow, they really spoil the driving experience. My Viper is the only one I’ve driven, and I presumed they all drove like crap – until after a year I could afford new rubber which totally transformed the handling.

Dusty, Congrats and Welcome, really clean Viper.

Can’t tell from that Bay pic where in Cali you are. Very active groupd down here in SoCal. Enjoy, do some drifting on those run flats and then get good fresh rubber!! Mike

For a while, I really wanted the coupe. But now, after seeing how she looks top down, and driving it with the top down, I’m very glad I got the vert!

what an awesome story! thank you for sharing. This is one of the cars I always chose in racing games when I was growing up, so its extra fulfilling to finally own one. And new tires are the first thing I ordered haha should be getting them installed soon.

Hi guys! I recently purchased a 2003 SRT-10 and this is probably one of the best and coolest memories of my 30 year long life so far. I had looked in California for a bit, but all of the good ones were out of my budget. I ended up going on a crazy 24 hour trip to Iowa to check one out, and shipped it back home to CA.

Here she is on the day she arrived

covered in a bit of Iowa dust and mud because I had to test drive her in the rain

and here she is after her first bath!

Previous owner installed a Corsa catback Exhaust, sounds absolutely amazing. I have a few simple mods planned(coilovers, tint, radio etc) but other than that, I think the car is perfect! Cant wait for whats in store with this car!
