I know we have several tall men who are in the club… 6’4 – 6’5 maybe even 6’6. 1HOTV10 and SmokinTires come to mind…
Hopefully by bumping this thread some of them will answer you. At 6’2 you should be good to go…

It might also be a good idea to go to a VOA event. I”m sure someone would let you sit in their Viper to see if you are comfortable.

or contact the regional president, he amy know of someone in your area.

I’m 6’4″ and over 300. You’ll find the viper will give you more room than the vettes, which I’ve also sat in multiple generations and will vipers def have more overall room Gen 3-5. Width isn’t a problem. Height isn’t bad, you should have some room still but you won’t be able to easily wear a helmet if needed. Even if you fit, to give yourself a better driving position with your eyes less at the top of the windshield, I highly suggest the 1 or 2″ seat lowering kit. They are very easy to install and very common for the generation Viper that you’re considering. The 2″ is not adjustable, so seat won’t be able to move forward/backward at all, but if you’re the only driver, you’ll likely want it in the full back position anyway. The car will then fit your height perfectly.
Lots of great people in the club. You’ll find them welcoming and more than willing to have you sit in their car. It was also a good suggestion to have you visit an event. It’s a great place to car shop and talk directly with owners.
Good luck and we look forward to seeing the pic of that new car… : )

I am 6’5 about 240. When I was on my search I sat in a couple Gen III verts, and they seemed tight to me. My head was slightly above the windshield, and it seemed pretty cramped in the seat. Could be that they were the first Vipers I had ever been in and wasn’t use to it. I ended up with a Gen II. I had to get a 2″ seat lowering kit so I could look through the windshield. My knees are right at the dash, but I don’t feel as cramped as I did sitting in a Gen III. Once you get home find someone or a dealer near you and sit in a car to find out what work for you.

Thanks for the advice. I had been building my dream shopping cart and kept coming across the kit to lower the seat so I was thinking this might be a common fix for bigger drivers. Only drivers would be me and my wife and she’s 6 ft herself so she might now have to adjust much if any.

New guy here doing some research and plan on picking up a gen III here soon after i return from this current deployment. I’ve had 2 z06’s, couple of f-bodies, and mustangs and now I want to venture into the Viper world. I’m a bigger guy, 6’2 240ish and I’ve never actually sat or drove a Viper and was curious if i’m too big to fit comfortably. It won’t be a daily by all means just a nice weather and occasional track day car.
