Hey Troy welcome to the club, do you have any pics of your new snake?

Sorry, I can’t help you out with the rim question, I’m still rolling stock so I have no idea.

My only advice is to make sure you have a bowl of oatmeal daily, so you can keep up with the demands of the Viper!

Welcome to the club! The Gen2’s are awesome! Is it stock?
Sorry, don’t know about the center caps.

Mostly stock except Corsa exhaust, short shifter and rims (although I will be replacing the rims)

      Beautiful!
What rims are you thinking of going with?

Hi, welcome. Have you joined the VOA and Houston VOA groups. Local guy, Nine Ball (Tony) sells forgestar wheels that look great.

Thank you for the links ForTehNguyen – I just requested access for both sites. I would love to see the options Tony has for Viper wheels…hopefully I can track him down.

Hi everyone – new here and new to Vipers. I have a 2002 Gen 2 GTS and I want to put Sidewinder II wheels on it. The car is factory height so I’m not worried about the fit. My question is around the center cap size. Will a Gen 2 Sneaky Pete center cap fit in the Sidewinder II center cap holes?
      Thanks in advance,
      Troy

      Hi Troy,

While I do not have access to Gen 2 centercaps, here are a couple photos of SWII centercaps you can use for reference.

      2018-06-20-07.10.40.jpg

The overall outside diameter is 2.128(ish) inches. This is the same size as the recess in the wheel.

The centercaps clip in with metal spring tabs. The “as-clipped-in” diameter of this is 1.772(ish) inches.

A friend told me that Jon B from the Viper Parts Rack was able to get his a set of Gen 2 caps to fit Sidewinders. His website doesn’t begin to showcase all that he can get, so you might give him a jingle. He’s all over these forums too.

Surely someone on here knows whether or not the centercaps are a direct swap. Anyone??
