The outgoing officers did an exceedingly awesome job, raising the bar several notches. Thank you to everyone for your past several years of service to the Viper family.

I will give my best to the club and if anyone ever needs to contact me direct for anything my office number is 830-438-7938. I look forward to helping the club out at the next level.

In the same breath, being a regional president, soon to be National Vice President and in my spare time trying to operate my own construction company, I would like to open up the position of VOA Racing Director to some new blood that may serve the position better. Please nominate potential candidates and we can discuss the best fit for the position, preferably someone with track experience in and out of the drivers seat.

Again, Thank you Alex and all the existing officers, y’all have done better than we could have ever asked for. We have some BIG shoes to fill!

Thank you Alex, Sandi and Brad for your hard work in building a warm and welcoming club.

Also many thanks to the members of the board for placing your trust in the 4 of us and Kurt, Ed, Joe and I will do our level best to fill those big shoes Kurt posted!

Alex, also a huge thanks to you for staying on as the NVE3 project manager – your planning has been absolutely amazing and I know our members will enjoy themselves immensely.

Could not be happier to see this. Alex knows how much I appreciate him and everything he does/is doing as well.

Known and worked with both Beth and Kurt for years, and we are in exceptionally capable and turst worthy hands. Look forward to seeing your new team lead the VOA into the next chapter of it’s life.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote (nearly everyone). I know it’s a formality but I appreciate the involvement.

I’m pleased to announce (and congratulate) the 4 new officers for the VOA:

Joe Boscia – Treasurer
Ed Massena – Secretary
Kurt Robinson – Vice President
Beth Sewell – President

Voting was completed a few days ago. It was almost unanimous, with only 1 person who abstained on a vote. I’m so pleased to have them and pleased they’re supported by the voters. All new officers happen to be from different regions, and all with a pretty significant tenure in leadership roles. I’m sure they’ll bring a lot to the table.

I’ve been working hard putting a foundation in place for transition materials and documentation going forward for the clubs future (and dating back from the early days of it’s inception). We’ve built an extensive library of documents, among which I’ve written several manuals on running NVE’s and other components. This is simply the next of many transitions, and we’re postured well into the future – and I’m sure those who continue the work will build on that record.

Congrats to all 4 new officers. You guys truly have the spirit and the ability to benefit the club. And of course, thank you for taking on these responsibilities!
