With the morning rain and wet streets we had a lower than planned turn out, but with 3 Gen IV and 2 Gen II cars we made a hell of a day of it! The hill country roads west of San Antonio are unmatched to anything in Texas. Could not have asked for better weather (after 9:30AM) for the drive. Sprayed down the ACR that evening and we are ready for the next run!

      Fellow Viper owners and enthusiasts!

It’s time for the next event so mark your calendars you will not want to miss this one!

Event: Highway 16 Twisty road to Hanger Hotel & Diner

Meeting place: Saltgrass-Bandera Trails Parking lot (11812 Bandera Road San Antonio, TX 78023) behind the Exxon (corner of Bandera Rd and Loop 1604)

      Date: November 9th, 2013

Time: 9:30AM arrive at Saltgrass parking lot (11812 Bandera Road) LEAVING AT 10AM SHARP

      Description/special instructions:
Take the always fun and twisty Highway 16 from San Antonio through Bandera, Medina, Kerrville, and end up in Fredericksburg for lunch at the Hanger Hotel & Diner. This Diner and Hotel is really a site to see. Address of Diner is Gillespie County Airport, 155 Airport Rd Fredericksburg, TX 78624. From there we can take scenic back roads home or shotgun down I10, Austin and Northern members will have a great trip back via back roads or 290, either way a great run. Pushed the drive back to a 10AM start time so we may be able to get some more participation from people outside the city limits. Will be a fun cruise and we have GREAT weather this time of year! Come on out and enjoy the few months of great Viper weather!
