I’m sure Kurt can chime in but we suggest no tires older than 7 years at the very most. People will be responsible for safety checking their cars, we’ll have a checklist that will go out to all attendees in the near future that gives them a general guide and to also summarize what to expect when they arrive.

They won’t be able to buy tires at the event. While Pirelli will be onsite, it’s mostly for presence and to interact with attendees.

      Take care

I got helmet questions as well, I told them more info should be coming.

Yep, info will be sent in advance of the event, but so you’re informed sooner: Helmets are mandatory for the road course. They are not mandatory for autocross. We do have many loaner helmets in diff sizes for loan. We want to encourage people to bring their helmet if they own one, simply so they’re more comfortable and leave loaner helmets for those who need it. Karting also requires a helmet and the track will provide them.

Heh. Yeah, we should have enough helmets but I do think we want to encourage people to bring them if they have them so that we have more options for sizing and less time is spent searching through loaner helmets to find the one people like – as we’ll be on a tight schedule.

One other piece of info that we confirmed recently (for those track track) with regard to helmets. SA2005 helmets will be allowed by the track and our insurance for this event.

I had a few members reach out to me with a few questions around tires (date code)

What is the date code that will be allowed?

      Also another question…

One of my members asked if there would be a chance to get tires installed onsite with the Pirelli deal? My comment to him was the logistics would be tough but I would ask the question.

      Thanks peeps~
