I’ll let Kurt chime in however I know we won’t know this far in advance. I’m going to guess (because we have to wait for all people to finish sign ups) that it’ll be april until run groups are decided. Folks will be pleased to know that we’re planning our track day around skill level groups. Novices will get the right treatment, middle experience provides the appropriate room the play, and we are accommodating experienced and expert levels with open track. But to do that, we’ll need to finish registration to build the groups. Also, we are still pursuing another possible track day that people can pay for and do open track. We’ll see how that works out. So keep in mind if you participate in that it adds another day.
Hope that helps a little!

There’s nothing about the track portion of the event that would prevent insurance providers to want to offer it for the event. We as a group are not providing any timing and scoring. I can reach out to both lockton and ontrackinsurance when we have things finalized to make sure people CAN purchase the insurance. I think it’s VERY important that the club differentiates the ON track insurance coverages from the coverage we all get from being a member to all the participants.

I have purchased On Track insurance from member ACR Steve for local track days. The insurance covers your own car in case things go bad. I’ve asked him if his insurance would be available during NVE2. He replied that it could be that; he just needs to know the dates to get it setup on his website. http://www.ontrackinsurance.com . I guessing that people will be split up so that a particular persons track day could be either Friday or Saturday? or will it be split up 3 ways Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.? Also I believe you need to know which exact day you will be on the track to sirn up for the insurance for that day. How soon would an attendee know which day is their track day?
Thanks,
Brent
