Hey everyone, just a heads up that everything is on target (and looking INSANELY good) for NVE3. I’m excited, I think people will really enjoy it.
The website will go online on Oct 1 as was planned. It’ll have a lot of extensive detail down to exactly what we’re doing each day. Pricing and hotel plans will also be shown in all it’s detail. As mentioned, pricing will be lower due to our focus to make it more affordable (a common complaint on surveys) and also because we’re not doing a raffle car. While I was hoping we could possibly do a $495 rate, I wanted to break that $500 barrier but couldn’t get it that low without impacting things people will notice. The final rate will be $539 ($160 less than past events). I think that will make people very happy.
As mentioned, we have gotten the host hotel (Delano) down to $224 per night. We also have a very small block of cheaper rooms in the Mandalay Bay hotel on the other side of their property for $175/night for any of those wishing to save a few bucks (thought he Delano is 5 star – for that price people will absolutely love it, you get a lot for your money).
We’ve had a very relaxed planning process for this so that we don’t get in any crunches. Budget looks great, timing look great, and all plans are to perfection. As usual, I’ll provides the presidents updates on registration and budget performance all the way up to the event. We have lots of volunteers already, and those smaller planning details will be kicking off shortly (signs, processes, training, etc…). As for the activities itself, I think our gang will really like what is planned. It’s not something you can just do on your own, and very much over the top with some unprecedented access to several locations.
While people tend to rush the fence on NVE registration and do a really good job getting in early, marketing is still a big part. Much like renewals, let’s remind people about the event and get good representation from all regions. I sense we’ll break our old attendance records.
Don’t publish any information to members yet, this was just for your benefit so you knew what the plan was. The mag is shipping today will also reveal the information. Plenty of advance notice is key to having a good turnout, so we’re well ahead of the curve. This is going to be a good event people should be pleased.
Thanks everyone!
