Congrats to the new team, and you Tony for retiring. Now maybe you’ll have more time to enjoy that new car of yours. Would be nice to see that at our clam bake next year.

      Cheers!

      Team,

The NY/CT VOA region held it’s election in October. Our corporation bylaws calls for elections every two years. My term started in 2013 and I decided not to run for re-election. I’ve been involved with our region since 2005. I’ve served in various officer roles and positions since then. It has been one heck of a journey, particularly over the last 2 years. :witless: Working with Ed, Mike and Chuck over the last few years I know the club is in good hands. The members also agree. T-MINUS 55 days until my retirement. 😀

Candidates ran uncontested, which is usually the case ( I wish more folks would step up, its not so bad 😀 ). However, we have one fresh new face in the Secretary position (long-time member from CT) and an eager new President (Ed) that I believe will have very a positive impact in our region and for the VOA. NY/CT is in good hands.

The new NY/CT officers for 2014-2015 are:

      Ed Massena (SlateEd) – President
Chuck Tator (Slow Red) – Vice President
      Mike Kotler – Treasurer
      Mike Baran – Secretary

The new officers will take over club duties on 1/1/2015. I will work with our VOA national officers to ensure that any and all paperwork and records are updated.

      Thanks,
      Tony
