Saw that yesterday and it’s a good read. When you picking up your new one 😀 I know you’re thinking about it.

I’ve been lucky enough to drive a few crazy cars lately: Corvette C7, Nissan GTR, Porsche 911S, McLaren MP4-12C Spyder and a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. I have to say that they were all great cars with some way faster than mine, but they just didn’t do it for me. I’m really not knocking them, but it just wasn’t as exciting and visceral as the Viper. However, I was a passenger in an orange T/A for literally 30 seconds at 20 mph and that car got my blood flowing!

P.S. I’m lying about the Aventador… Not about driving it, about it not getting my blood flowing! That was insane, but it shouldn’t even be consider a car. Whole different experience entirely! :dude3::dude3:

A Porsche 911 has loads more finesse, while a Corvette Stingray is vastly easier to live with on a day-to-day basis. These comparisons go out the window once you’re driving the Viper – it’s simply a very different and more visceral kind of sports car.

Whether that makes it better, well, that answer might come down to how much attention you crave. Many people wouldn’t give a passing glance to a Carrera – sorry Porsche fans… the Viper, even in my test car’s demure shade of silver, makes an outrageous entrance everywhere it goes
