It’s nice to hear a company standing behind their product, although it does suck when something like that fails since most of us only have one jack (well, I only have one at least).
I went high end many years ago when I bought my AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ – it’s big and heavy, but the long reach and low profile have come in really handy.

I checked your jack out and a couple other versions of it. That is a very nice jack. A very expensive jack. And a HUGE jack. Hell of a low profile though.

Very impressive service from Bosch! When the old jack failed, did it lower very quickly?
The AC lifts are very nice, but I went with a Milwaukee Hydraulics 2-ton floor jack. Works great, and I hope their customer service is as good as what Bosch provided.

OTC is a pretty good company. They make a lot of the shop equipment we use and specialty tools.

I bought this OTC ALuminum “Racing Jack” with a couple of stands back in late 2011. (Stands are nice since those are shallow on top and work well with the jack points on our Vipers. Bought two more since then.) I had a couple of cheap jacks up till that time that had broken and I threw away.
So after about 2.5 years of ownership and plenty of use the jack finally blew a seal after being jacked all the way up. Not sure if I tried to over-extend it or not, but it broke.
I reached out to the Bosch company which handles the warranty on these at the instruction of the OTC company. This model carries a lifetime warranty which they honored with my Amazon printed sales receipt. Bosch supplied a pre-paid UPS return label. I sent it back and in less than 5 days Bosch had a refurbished jack of the same model shipped back to me at no cost. The refurb came with a lifetime warranty as well. (I saved the box and packing in my attic this time.)
There are always conversations about what jack to buy when it comes to low cars, and I figured a post about great warranty service would fit in.
