Paying for NVE4 registration

Sorry Paul but we can’t reserve spots for anyone who might or might not pay later. That could open up another huge can of worms with folks reserving 10 or 20 spots and then dumping them later. The club has entered into very significant financial obligations for this event and cannot afford to lose money if we don’t fill it up. Folks will need to be prepared to pay for their registrations when they sign up.

Hi,

Some of my members want to attend NVE4, but are struggling to swing both the membership renewal and the NVE4 registration fees in the same month. One of them asked if there would be an option to “pay later” for NVE4. I.e., give a credit card to hold the spot, but it would be actually billed nearer the time. I’m aware that a credit card is already a “pay later” system, but it’s not a free one.

I’m 99% sure that you have to pay for NVE4 when you register (because why would we have other options?), but does anyone have insight into whether there will be payment options? I’ve not been to an NVE before, but for those who have, what do you recall about paying for it?
