The last 30 days have been a dream. Our GT2 took us on an unforgettable journey around Florida. Orlando to Tampa to Ft. Myer to Miami to Key West to Jacksonville to Amelia Island.
Just under 1,800 miles in total.
For a Viper that was driven very hard for its first 10,000 miles and still as original as they came out of the factory, the help I received ensuring new components were up to the adventure or in the trunk just in case was very reassuring.
1. Steve Fess or Steve-Indy – My constand goto Viper mentor who talked me thru all the “what can go wrong will” scenarios. He ensured I had jumper cables, tools, radiator tension spring tool, jumper cables, hoses, gaskets, fluids, and – ready for this – multiple paper slips. It’s not that something could go wrong, its how long am I gonna have to wait to get the parts.
2. Parts Rack & JonB – My GT2 mentor, Continental tires, and radiator / heat box hoses. THANK YOU!!
3. Viper Parts USA & Corey – Last minute inner & outer tie rods – expedited so I could get on the road. THANK YOU!!
4. Viper Specialty Performance & Dan – All gaskets since all are original. I did not need, but they were in the trunk!! THANK YOU!!
5. Hagerty – If something would have happen, then the best roadside coverage to get me 150 miles at no charge to a well know Viper Tec in the state.
If you do not use the VOA sponsors, then you don’t know what you are missing with their Viper experience, knowledge, and wisdom to steer you in the right direction. All of the insurance policies I bought worked – DID NOT NEED THEM.
