the line is off, but there is an additional threaded insert that must be removed from the pump. Getting to it in a straight line is obstructed. I’ll take pictures after work, if I don’t black out when I get home. My timing for fixing things is t(u)rrible.

I’m finally getting around to replacing my power steering lines, and I am using the JTS Venom kit.

I started pulling things apart and am I in the realm of realistic possibilities if I try to do this without pulling the pump? I might be able to get that 1″ adapter off with an open ended wrench, but man would that be ugly. It looks like I will have to pull the pump and either put it in a vise with the socket or wedge between a few pieces of wood and hit it with the impact.

The reservoir blocks a good shot at it with a socket in the car, and the drive pulley obstructs a straight on shot at it with a wrench. I am surprised there isn’t some miller tool for this, part number 34321531132542352345r24352312413253252345235 or something.
