I would say fix those things that are wrong with it and have the paint professionally polished & touched up. You can have the curb rash sanded and polished also so that it blends and is barely visible. Then ask $35-37K.
It may catch someone’s eye if it looks like it has been well cared for. Little broken parts and scratches personally turn me off…..because I always wonder what other mechanical things have been neglected. (That is just my rationale when buying)
If you don’t get your asking price, it will probably look so good again that you will want to keep it. Put some love and $$$ into the visual flaws and the last few fixes.

That’s a good point, it definitely doesn’t give a great impression even though mechanically I’ve cared for it. I just use it daily and it wasn’t worth fixing a few scratches only to have a few more come up later. Thanks for the advice

Mine is flawless….which kind of sucks too, because I know the first big scratch or ding is coming sometime! But oh well. I just love silver sports cars.

I would say a bit low, but not by a lot with miles and if minor blemishes.
I have an ’06 with 31k miles which people say is high…and I laugh as the car is extremely well cared for and I think cars that sit and have few miles can actually have more unknown issues. I have not had a ton of luck with mine at my price (but Its also got a lot of high dollar mods).
Good luck and you may just hang on and enjoy 🙂

Webby keep the car ! Are you back in the states ?

I have an 05 with about half the milage. I would rather die in it than let it go for 32K.

I’ve listed my car on eBay a couple times… it has never gone through the complete 7 days because I keep having remorse and taking it down.
silver
46,000 miles
3rd ownerGood things
– short shifter & 1 inch seat lowering kit
– new Michelin Pilot Super Sports with only 2k miles
– new steering pump
– AC just recharged
– new wipers
– red brake calipersBad things. Nothing mechanical, just the body needs some TLC
– curb rash on 2 wheels (not terrible but visible)
– body is kind of rough. Small scratches everywhere. But since it’s metallic silver, not easy to see them
– driver’s side window trim completely peeled off and looks like crap
– driver’s side door handle broken ($300 part)The best offer I’ve gotten is 32k. That seems low to me. Is that about what I can expect for a 3-owner 46k mile car? Appreciate your opinions.
