I’m finally about to start the bodywork on my B/W ’97 GTS. I don’t want to paint the whole car if I don’t have to, so I need to get the best paint match possible. To that end, I’m wondering what color the factory primer was. One of my door mirrors is chipped and shows white underneath, but given this car’s history I can’t be sure if it’s primer, or just a repainted mirror off a white car. Does anyone know for certain what color primer was used? Thanks for the info.
