I can see the clip but it doesn’t appear easy to press in and pull it out?

ACR hood vents:
The clips you mentioned are a bit tight and the reason for that is so they do not fly out.
I use a small pocket screw driver and lightly push up on them to remove.
Push to hard and they may break!
