      I took a 1st place at the Pre HISTORICS the week before and a 2nd in class at the HISTORICS.

      Best lap time was a 1:26

      Eric got down to 1:23

      They made ,e wrap her in her old IMSA livery for this event but she looks good like that too.

      Congrats! Love it too. For your group, the Pace Car is told: “Go as fast as you possibly can”…….. only Historic F-1 and IMSA get that call…….. Fun For ME! “Just Stay Out Of their way til the last turn”

      HISSSSTORY: Waay back in 1995 Historics, Viper was a featured Marque at Quail Run ! VOI-2, 400+ Vipers.

      We also were Pace Car for the Auto-Week Rolling Concourse on the 17-mile loop. Carroll Shelby was our Grand Marshall. The GTS-R debuted at that event, as did the 1996 Indy 500 Pace Car.

      Monterey Herald is the local paper there, and a parade Viper waving a USA Flag and Viper Pete made the COVER of the historics weekend Herald edition. Bob Lutz was ecstatic.

      Ah, the good-ole-days. Now, the G1 Vipers can race as historic.
