anybody got any views on how to fix in the harnesses – do u think the child restraint bolts are strong enough or is it best ti add some plate steel?

Hey Mick! I did NOT know you still had your Viper!

Every year Viper has ‘fixed’ anchors (bosses) pre-drilled into the frame to accept a 4-5-6pt bolt-in or snap-in multi-point harness.

THE YEAR MATTERS as to where, but the “How” is quite similar Gen to Gen. Still have a Gen 1? Child restraint bolts will fit, but would NOT pass race-tech inspections for racing purposes. Dodge wants $27 for one forged eyebolt. {PartsRack $6.50)

Email me for more…. I hate PMs. JonB@PartsRack.com
