The safe way to insure there is no caster drift when doing the alignment without the proper tool is to make sure they adjust BOTH the lower control arm eccentrics the exact same amount when adjusting camber. If they do this it will stay very close, if they didn’t then you need to have it redone using the correct tool to insure it is right.

I had my 2013 GTS alignment specs set to 2014 TA specs.

All went fine, but I don't know the rear caster measurement. The Dodge / SRT dealer told me that there is a Viper specific tool to measure rear caster. I have done a few searches on the web and found that appears to be the case.

Does anyone know how much adjusting the rear camber from the -1.15 GTS setting to a -1.5 TA setting would affect the caster setting? The place that performed the alignment has no way to measure rear caster.

Are there any Dealers in the Michigan /Ohio area who have the correct tools and skill sets to do a Viper Alignment as per the manual ?

You should always set caster on rear, very important for rear end stability.. Here’s a accurate simple tool (Inclinometer) for your tool box., to assist in your Vipers alignment. The angle finder is placed on rear knuckles machined locator pads.. Yes already machined and ready to go from the factory.

If anyone needs or want to purchase an inclinometer just give us a call – toddy @ (916)505-9026

      Hope this helps out,
