Director conference call last night (pretty much ruining my home life week after week :o).
We’re STILL having last minute issues with our credit card servicer. I won’t bore you with any details, but it’s all about banking regulations, fearful and uninformed bank underwriters and the fact that we have over $80,000 already in escrow which is causing us to hesitate before throwing in the towel with our original servicer. Anyway, looks like we will not have registration open for credit card payments until early next week.
That being the case, everyone should be aware that we ARE taking registrations over the phone at VOA Headquarters (888) 778-1545 (M-F-8:30 am to 5 pm EST). If you are asked or if you notice a posted question, please post the info and tell anyone that we are welcoming phone registrations. They are recording an individual’s registration information along with their credit card numbers which are kept on a list pending the reopening of our credit card access. At that time, they will be registered according to the time of their call to Headquarters and their card will be charged. Then the list and info is shredded.
