Presidents: remember to update your calendar of events on our website. That way, local members as well as out-of-area members (and prospective members) can see how active our club is and plan their calendars.
To save work on your part, this year, I will pull the list of events for Viper Quarterly from the website calendar, so you don’t have to submit lists each quarter. Just make sure your calendar is up to date on the website. Jim Johnson, national events director, will be reminding you.
I’ve deleted all 2014 events from your calendars, however, we will leave past 2015 events visible so people can see all the activities from the year. This is more important later in the year when we get to the end of the season.
It’s easy to post. Just login to your portal at http://www.driveviper.com/portal. You’ll see an events tab. Click on it, and the system will prompt you for the name of the event, location, start date, number of days, and a brief description. Hit the submit button, and you’re done. You can also go back and edit or delete events you’ve posted. If you’d like to assign this task to your events director, let Alex Ristanovic know, and he can provide access for that person.
