Todd@ A&C performance does it again ! I recently had a close friend of mine pick up an ’03 vert with and Hennessy supercharged package! Car has tons of goodies on it suspension, brakes, roller rockers, Paxton kit etc. The car looks sweet and drove awesome but was missing a little of the holy $H!T factor when you put your foot down! The car made 560/575 rwhp on the rollers! 🙁 no beuno! Knowing what kind of gains there were to be had with some basic upgrades to the fuel system and the know how of a solid reliable tuner I quickly called Todd @ A&C performance to help get my buddies car up to par! 😉 received the tuner from Todd within 3 days! With a pre loaded tune to get us going on the dyno!
1- first pull – 540/565 as always nice and fat to keep us safe until we see some data!
(Remember we’re doing remote tuning from L.A to T.O Canada!! Over 2000 miles away! )
2- second pull- 580/600 already doing better than our baseline! We emailed the dynojet file directly to Todd and he sent a revision within 10min!!
3- loaded the revision – third pull 605/610 still a little rich on the top end … We sent the data. Todd doing his thing via the Internet staying In touch with us the whole time keeping the flow of communication and dyno numbers moving in a positive direction !
4- loaded the tune and hit the rollers 640/620!! Starting to see some magical numbers! During our chat Todd had noticed that something was off with the IAT’s and at that point we started to check everything that we could and discovered that the Intercooler pump was not working… Needless to say they’re are a few more ponies to gain from a cooler charge so we’ll just have to wait till it’s fixed and get a some final numbers! Overall I can’t thank Todd enough for all of his patience and experience , and especially for staying late and working with us on his wife’s birthday!! That was clutch and very appreciated considering it was the only dyno time we were able to secure for weeks! Thanks again buddy top shelf as always!
