The swap out takes minutes. I had to do mine recently. However, I don’t know if the part is the same for certain. They look identical from the outside, but don’t know if the mechanics are the same. X2 is where I got mine.
I had to replace mine in my 1999 RT-10 and I believe that I was told that the 99 has a chrome shaft which started that year, otherwise it was the same. I know that Jon B found mine for me and gave me advice.
It’s winter, 5 degrees, and I’m bored to tears, which means I think way too much. That being said, can a gen 1 parking brake lever be replaced with a gen 2 lever with the silver shaft?
