I am saddened to report the passing of a good viper friend of many years past….

DAN EVERTS, long-time SoCal club president, track rat, and passionate Viper Guy, recently lost his 2+ year battle with cancer.

Dan and Cathy Everts organized and hosted some of the BEST viper clubbing events ever held. From track to social, SoCal set the bar pretty high. Cathy made hand-detailed Swarovsky crystal Viper T-shirts for her clubbers, the first real “classy” Ladies apparel” in Viper world. Looked right at home at Hearst Castle…..

The last time I saw Dan was at the Jay Leno Garage filming of the G5 debut at Willow Springs, when Ralph G and Dick W drove in from the Fla Keys, thru snow and gloom…..

Dan had a long resume of Viper racing, and Dan Cragin helped him build an 1100HP G3.

Last few years they resided in TX, where Cathy and their son Drew are still Vipering, but much sadder now.

Those of you especially from SoCal, please remember the good times with Dan, and have a kind thought.

      JonB…..

      Race In Peace.
