We have a Viper Cruise and Drive-In Movie planned tomorrow. Anyone is invited to attend, regardless of club affiliation.
March 27, 2021:
130 PM: Late Lunch at Scooby’s Gourmet Subs (dutch treat)
330 PM: Depart for a Viper cruise through beautiful horse country.
430 PM: Pit Stop for gas, bathroom break and possibly some Ice Cream
530 PM: Meet at the Ocala Drive Inn movie theater. Position the cars. ( no entrance / movie fee)
600 PM: Group photo and chilling out with other Viper owners.
700 PM Movie starts (1970 Vanishing Point, awesome car movie!!)
9-930 PM Movie over, everyone heads home or back to the hotel.
We will have our own screen and area to park our machines and enjoy the old time tradition of a “Drive in Movie.” . Although we will be outside, we do request that everyone bring and wear a face covering. Hot Food will be available from the concession and can be ordered on your phone and brought to your car. They do not allow outside food / drinks.
We have picked a hotel for those wanting to stay overnight. This hotel is away from the hustle and congestion, it is about 8 miles from the Ocala Drive In and next door to Silver Springs. We do not have a group rate, but as of today there were 26 double queen rooms available,as well as a few single kings, so please go online and find your best deal.
