I’ve searched and found very little about this, hoping this thread can consolidate all knowledge. Background is me, and a few others are looking for a frontal head restraint that can be used in multiple vehicles. I’m aware of the stated dangers of cars with/without harness, stock belts, roll cage, etc. My questions are specifically for feedback on the Simpson Hybrid S device with stock seats. I have a Gen V Viper with TeamTech harnesses, but other cars without.
For those who currently have or have used a Simpson Hybrid S device:
1) What gen Viper have you used it in?
2) Your height
3) Used with 3pt seatbelt, harness or both?
4) Brief review. Is it comfortable, would you recommend, any issues?
It has been stated that the screws may damage the seat back, but can easily be fixed by cover them with the Simpson pad or something homemade.
