      On looks the MB SLS all day long. Performance, I can’t comment because I have never actually driven both but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn…. a long time ago.

      The slide over on the MB has a great feel; push to start and the dash looks great and exhaust is killer for stock; I think the SLS has a bit more soul; too bad you lose the doors with the roadster version.

      Holiday Inn is quite the venue btw

      R8 is a more useful,the mb motivates your soul,a little bit like a viper!

      Not my rides (I put in the suggestions section a suggestion to have a place to discuss other Marques)

      What gets your vote & why? Can find a fine example of either for around 150k at this point; both have the benefit of German engineering. The Audi has the bigger engine but the MB has gull wing doors and sounds great. Clutch wear on the R8 is minimal and I think either could be utilized as a DD.

      Thoughts?
