Plumbing section of your local hardware store should have a brass plug that will fit fine, 3/8 NPT.
Or something like this would work: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=3258&utm_souce=Google&utm_medium=CSE&utm_term=28750&utm_campaign=CSE&gdftrk=gdfV25409_a_7c2692_a_7c10048_a_7c28750&gclid=Cj0KEQjw4fCqBRDM1ZKhk5jfo6IBEiQAZQ97OLd7vEmWlFK3XCq6aXUSXrFesAiJP5OBQXCrpGVsrT0aAp-i8P8HAQ
You could also trim the outer edge of the damaged plug into a square shape so you could get an open-end wrench on it.
