Haven’t seen an “inner” lined socket. I did wrap the “outer” portion of my socket with Electrical tape to prevent scratching the wheels. How crazy are we to take these little extra steps!

Use a sandwich baggie for a liner works great.

I have a set like this, but its just to protect the wheels from getting scrapped.

Will those fit in the openings for the lug nuts? My impact socket barely fits in there now.

Does anyone know where to get nylon, or an “inner” coated socket for lug nuts? Don’t want to scratch lugs when changing wheels.
