I thought I remember that SRT was providing recommended track settings for all of the tracks where they set track records. I am guessing it would have included shock settings, wing settings, etc.I know the ACR supplement has recommended starting settings, but I was looking for SRT’s other settings.
If this exists, could someone point me in the right direction please?
I vaguely remember reading this somewhere as well, but never found anything. Tom O’dell told me they ran wing at #1 (lowest angle of attack) at all tracks. Both the hired drivers for the ‘Ring attempt also said the car would have been faster if the wing had a setting even lower than the lowest, they said at the lowest it was just too much drag. The only way I’d see anyone running faster with more than that may be on a high power car that can trade some drag for being able to put full power down faster after corner exit. In back to back Chuckwalla sessions (both on new tires one year apart) I ran 1.51 flat on #1 and 1.52.4 at #3.
I’m running the same shocks as you, we should compare notes -
Sebring & other bumpy tracks you want the front suspension a bit higher so the splitter isn’t bouncing off the track.
Then Homestead for instance you have the banking which is lower downforce thus less wing & infield which needs more wing
I’ll play around a bit w settings at Homestead, Sebring & PBIR & post findings

“Homestead for instance you have the banking which is lower downforce thus less wing & infield which needs more wing”
Just to clarify what hes saying . A Banked track means that you need less wing because there is increased downforce from the banking. There’s a give and take between creating drag with the wing and not having enough wing in the high speed flatter infields. Keep in mind your wing does basically nothing for you in lower speed turns .
I like the track settings in your ACR manual. Then fine tune from there based on what track you drive at and how much you drive it on the street . I have track set up from the manual and adjusted my ride heights a little bit higher since I do mostly street driving. with the car . Always recommend a good corner balance from a qualified race shop anytime you deal with ride height
