Hello, just need some suggestions. Just bought a Vipair CF rear lip spoiler for my 2006 Vert, what can u suggest what to use to make sure it stays well on the rear trunk especially when driving fast. I know 3M is common to use with it but is there any other adhesive or maybe sealant that I can use and won't damage the paint and if I decide to take it off. Thank you.

Mine is attached with the two sided 3M tape which seems to work great. It’s been to 177 without it detaching and sailing away. It was originally on my 08 which met a wall that sent it to Viper heaven. I took a guitar string and basically sawed back and forth to remove it from that car. The paint under it seemed to be ok but I didn’t pay a lot of attention to that. I had it repainted and it now resides on my 10 vert. V8R2SLO-1.jpg

Thank you DEMO MAN! did you have any issues with it like dust building up underneath or on the edges of the spoiler? your car looks killer πŸ™‚

Thanks, I’ve not seen any issues on dirt/dust around the edges at all. The tips that overlap the quarter panels does rub them some but a piece of felt glued on then fixed that.

I would use fishing line versus a guitar string. You could also use a blow dryer to warm things up to take it off.

Great idea, I do think the fishing line would be a lot less likely to mess up the paint on the trunk and the blow dryer would help to loosen up the tape. I just used a guitar string because the potential for damage wasn’t too much of an issue at that point for my 08.
