This guy knows what he is talking about. I followed him a few years on this same trip and what a blast. Wish my schedule allowed me to do it again. A must do if you are planning to go to TOTD, especially if leaving from or driving through the NoVA area.

When do you plan to go?
I have been down there 5 times and know the roads pretty well myself, I missed it this year with my s2000 group but I am trying to go this summer/fall

I’m in NOVA near DC. I’m leaving for a bullet-run down I-81 (8+ hours) early on 6/2 from NOVA area but could meet anywhere along the way. I figure on a two day trip back on the coolest blueridge, country backroads or maybe Blue Ridge Parkway north;
leaving Mon, 6/5 from Deal’s Gap. PM me, I’ll be solo this year but I may bail. It’s a long trip…
