Sure, I have been out of the selling business for 4.5 years ( though I have still helped alot of you get to the right person at Woodhouse.com ) but I have watched with concern some of the moves by Stellantis and was really saddened when Tim Kuniskis retired as that left only our good friend Ralph Gilles as the only old guard still in the mix. Having a bona fide Trackrat in charge of Design has always been so cool and Kuniskis was another staunch Gearhead pushing forward as much performance products as possible. Well, in my humble opinion, the best news for January is that Tim K. came out of retirement is CEO of Ram and many pick him to become the new CEO of Stellantis . That would be a brilliant and strong move as the proliferation of European or other Worldwide Managers with the Company under Tavares seem to continually ignore the folks at C,DJ, R that gave Stellantis it’s strength. American Managers in the company were as scarce as hen’s teeth and that , to many, seemed to ignore the giant Market in the US. Other rumors that Ralph Gilles might be retiring hopefully will not prove reliable and I for one have renewed optimism if we have both Tim and Ralph having even more input. Companies , regardless of what they produce, often go through periods others see as misdirection, and I see an end to this with Tavares gone. I see the clouds parting and am pleased with the new direction with two genuine ” Car Guys ” in key positions.
