      WET CONDITIONS, LOW GRIP DAY

For some of us adverse track conditions can be a great equalizer and for others it can be a humbling experience punctuated by 4 letter words, a side order of wheel pounding and a white knuckle sh-t fest. Wet or low grip track conditions can cause many problems for even the most experienced drivers. Even the most advanced driver aids can be rendered almost useless when track conditions get ugly; When this happens its time to go back to seat of the pants and think outside the box just a bit. Here are few tips that can help.

      1. In the wet dont use your wipers. If your on track and it it starts to rain or even sprinkle chances are you have oil and grime on the windscreen. If you hit the wipers that film of oil and grime becomes an absolute blinding mess.

      2. Disconnect you rear sway bar ( anti roll) In the rain or in low grip track conditions you want your car as compliant as possible; Quickest and easiest way to get compliance is disconnecting your rear sway bar ( anti roll). In severe low grip/wet track conditions you can also disconnect the front sway bar ( anti roll) .

      3. If you have adjustable shocks take out some compression. Every car is different and every shock is different so this one you have to play with to get what you need. If your absolutely lost or short on time your best bet is to take all the compression adjustment out.
