I’m booked in for my jab next week, it will likely be the UK oxford AstraZeneca jab, second jab is booked for June.

In Texas, I will probably be the last one to get one. I live in a predominantly Latino community (I am not). All of the stuff about the communities of color not receiving the vaccine are true in my area. My area is WAY behind the norm. Not the doctors fault. Just no vaccine.

If and when I get it……it will be the J&J. Proven technology. Reliable company. Lower success? yes…but minimal.

Oh what to do, what to say, what to choose?! Pfizer? Moderna? J&J? First Avail?

Patient #1 in USA was here in Washington, a 50-year old who passed 13 months ago.

China, Italy, US, Brazil, UK, S.AF Variants to consider? Or Is the worst variant the next one ?
Will there be second thoughts? Russia and China seem to be saving the world. Will J&J, tested in So Afrika and Brazil, in hindsight be the preferred cocktail 6 mos from now? What about 94% disease safe, vs 100% death safe? What a convoluted mess!

With much less than 20% of USA population fully vaccinated, I feel very fortunate to have just today completed both doses….happen to be the Pfizer. It was nightmarish to get appointments and I had to travel out-of-county both East and West to get both shots. The tiny hospital in White Salmon WA offered Nat-Geo picture-views of the Columbia River, and Mt. Hood. The 15 minute wait flew bye….

      I Have My Fauchi Ouchie!

But with V2 firmly dosed in my arm, and my wife’s, I feel like Mamba Members must feel … just a little bit superior.

Dont be Jealous, or an Anti-Vaxer! And if you are already V2 like me, Congrats! Good Luck to all……
