Carolinas Viper Club is gearing up for another event! Please join us Saturday August 12th, as we try to beat the heat with some delicious wine at Gregory Vineyards. The group will be attending a wine tasting as well as dinner at Lane’s Seafood & Steakhouse, which is located on-site.
After the food and drinks have settled, we will take a little cruise from the restaurant through some rural NC roads to Sunni Sky’s ice cream! I’m positive we will be the talk of the town as we all roll up in our gorgeous cars 😉
Sunni Sky’s has fantastic homemade ice cream and they have also been featured on the Food Network for their high quality taste and texture (as well as their famous spicy ice cream. Feel free to try it if you like living dangerously!)
After we have finished our dessert and you feel the night is too young and want to keep going, we will find ourselves cruising to Aviator Brewing in Fuquay Varina. There we will find a leisure hangout spot where we can snack and drink some Aviator Beer.
Registration will be $5 for members of Viper owners association – Carolinas and Carolinas viper club dues paying members. $25 for all other. Link to register is below.
Wine tasting will start at 3pm. Please try to get there at 2:45 this way we have time for greetings and settling in. Tasting will be included with the registration.
Please register as *soon as you can* this way we can notify the vineyard & restaurant so they can plan accordingly.
The wine tasting will last approximately an hour an a half. We will then find our way over to the restaurant for dinner at approximately 4:45. Dinner is onsite and you’ll be responsible for you dinner cost.
At around 6:30 or so (we can play it by ear) we will head out to cruise to Sunni Sky’s. Ice cream will also be included with the registration.
Sunni Sky’s closes at midnight. So there is no time limit for us to be there or to leave. If anyone does decide to go to Aviator Brewing afterwards, we can talk amongst ourselves to figure out when to go, and people can join as they see fit.
If you’re coming from afar, or just need the night to sleep off the wine tasting, or just feel like spending the night; the Hampton Inn in Benson is the best bet for local hotel. $149/night. King or 2 queens.
