      That was a ton of work. You don’t just bolt on a body and go. I like the interior and blending the instrument panel to hold Viper gauges.

      It looks like getting the engine to fit in what had a different wheelbase wound up being a lot of work and some trial and error. It looks like with the engine that far back it should have decent traction.

      Nice job. I imagine it get a lot of looks at a Cruz. The performance probably isn’t bad either.

      I agree… A lot of work put into this transformation. He did say that he had to modify the wheel base and it does pull a crowd when he opens the hood.

      Was at a race event and came across this. The owner also has a Red ’97 GTS. He acquired an ’02 that needed extensive body work and the cost to fix was way too much . Since he loves the gen 2 platform so much and wanted something different, he decided to throw it into a different body. After a few modifications to the frame, tweaking here and there…….. in it went to get this. 😎

      He drives it every and anywhere.
