I was at the factory last week with the engineers (Chris & Eric). They stated you will go through 2 sets of fronts for every 1 set of rears. Have you had the alignment checked yet? Printout? Hot pressure 35psi?

Have you checked with Dan Cragin (SPT)? He seems to have a pretty good reputation from others on the forum. I think he’s in Alhambra … so maybe 50 miles or so from Newport.

If Dan Cragin cannot fit you in, I would give Darren and Chris at West End Alignment in Gardena a call. They can do all your corner balancing and alignment.

CJ, Dan will give you a referral. Erik Messley, in Costa Mesa will be Dan’s top choice but Erik is backed up 30 days. Ross Murray is another good choice, he’s up in LA

If both are booked, try Stuggart Performance in Costa Mesa. Their not viper specialists like Erik or Ross, but they do great work, you’ll need to give them the spec’s you want.

We just finished setting up an new ACR and have just figured out a custom 18 inch wheel that will fit with R7’s. This tire, wheel combo should extend tire life dramatically.

Guys I’m doing a few more track days in the ACR and need to make sure my alignment and ride height are set properly…shredded front tires to me mean that I might be dealing with some issues there.

So- I live in Newport Beach and can drive or trailer the car in a pretty wide radius to get it set up. I need to get it done before Dec 18th so I can drive up to Buttonwillow…

my schedule:

Buttonwillow Dec 19th
Chuckwalla Dec 20th

any advice? I’m VERY GRATEFUL to the board here…
