It is with sadness that Joseph Dapsi passed away Thursday July 1st.

      Joe was Plant Chief Engineer.

Ken Nowak, Spirit of Viper Hall of Fame member said,

“I worked with Joe well before Viper (BV) when he was in the Bumper Lab at Highland Park. Always great to work with. Nobody was more willing to help.

I was following the first Gen III car down the line and saw an issue controlling placement of the carbon fiber inner fenders during epoxy bond to the chassis. I waved my hands and mentally invented a cross brace that dropped into the forward fender mounting holes to maintain the hood/fender gap while the epoxy set up. Joe had one built and incorporated into the build process the next morning. I hadn’t even written a request.”
