We’re always listening and collecting member feedback regarding the club operation and member benefits provided. One subject that seems to resurface on occasion is the member benefits (or lack thereof) provided in our discussion forums.
While trying to think of ways we can increase member benefits, we also feel it’s important to be sensitive to non-members (Enthusiasts). In most cases, Enthusiast’s contributions are positive, helpful, and help keep our forums lively. We’d like to continue welcoming Enthusiasts and encourage them to post here as much or as often as they like.
However, there are some member benefit adjustments we are considering. One of the changes that we have decided to implement will take effect January 1, 2016 is with our classified ad postings. All VOA members and site sponsors will continue to enjoy the ability to post FREE classified ads. Enthusiasts and non-sponsors are still welcome to post classified ads, but there will be a nominal fee depending on the type of ad that is posted.
Enthusiast ads:
Cars & Other Vehicles: $25 / ad
Parts & Accessories: $15 / ad
Wanted: FREE for everyone
Again, all VOA member ad postings will always be FREE OF CHARGE.
While most car clubs require paid membership to post classified ads, we didn’t feel it was necessary to go that far. We think this is a good compromise for everyone.
