Residing in the beautiful rolling hills of Horseshoe Bay this airport provides a stunning location that is centrally located to all the major cities of the beautiful American Southwest! Come join us for 2 FULL DAYS of, side-by-side, HALF MILE racing at this rare and exclusive location. All of our participants will be given a chance to take their vehicle’s Top Speed down Horseshoe Bay Resort Airport’s Private 5977 ft runway and race Door-To-Door against the competitor of their choice!! Pricing:

Drivers:

$195/ea (per day) in advance before April 11th, 2014, or $365 for a 2-day pass.
$225/ea (per day) in advance after April 11th, 2014, or $425 for a 2-day pass.

**To register as a “Driver” for both days simply click on the “2DayPass” Option in the drop down menu.

All Driver’s will be treated to a private catered lunch!

Driver’s you must Pre-Pay Online!

*There is no limit to the number of passes you can make! You will only be restricted by the turnover time that each runs takes.

Spectators:

$20/ea, (per day) or $30 for a 2-Day Pass.

Spectator Parking:

$10/ea (per car, per day) for non-hotel guests. If you are staying at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Hotel then event parking will be free! A shuttle service will take all spectators to the airport from the Summit Rock parking lot. All illegally parked vehicles will be towed!

I highly recommend going to this event especially if you have never been. I run the timing system for wannagofast as a side gig. We have about 300 cars (150/each day). There will be several vipers out there. I talked to a guy a few weeks ago that said he’s bringing out a 2000hp TT viper, so hopefully he can put on a good show.

If you do come out, make sure and say hi. I’ll be at the timing tent at the end of the runway. Look for the red and white striped viper with a wing on it. I always like to talk to other viper owners. Just don’t be upset if I can’t talk for a long period, it’s a pretty busy area when cars are racing.

I don’t know how many of you will be interested in this, but WannaGOFAST officially announced last night that the newest location for their 1/2 mile event will be held outside Austin in July this year. Here’s the “official” announcement:

OK Everyone……..after several months of hard work we have finally secured our most incredible location to date……….at none other than the World Famous Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas!! Located only 45 minutes outside of the great city of Austin, TX!!

We will be hosting our signature Heads Up, 1/2 Mile Shootout on their very own private 6000ft runway at Horseshoe Bay Resort!

Now you can play world class golf, championship tennis, ride waverunners, go water-skiing and have a 5-Star dinner all while RACING your car at the same time!!

Blake, the owner, is a good friend of mine and I actually help put the events on, so I will be there as well.
