Speaking of mods … you told me before that you got that big Roe hp partly because of Cauldwell ported heads! I didn’t know that you had a set of Cauldwell ported GTSR (MP) heads! I was just sold a set from a guy in New York for a very reasonable price that I plan to grind the heck out of (since they’re cast for grinding out massive ports). Are yours the original CNC ported heads or are they a set that Cauldwell did a large port job on?
I can’t wait to get my parts from C-note. I spent money and worked all winter to buy needed parts for my monster. Only some of the softer parts are here, most are at C-notes supergarage.
Bottlefed said he got 75whp when he added a big w/m shot and lots of timing. He wrote a tune into my vec last fall. When we filled the bottle with pure fresh Methanol and turned the w/m on without any timing … the dyno lost 10whp.
I ran NO w/m inj. to get 2nd in the Standing Mile last fall. 2 modded ZR1s were 5 and 7mph slower than me. That water/meth kit will let you add massive hp. I also have big w/m jets in my system. Chris Jensen took the w/m out of my PCM tune when he did tuned it. We were short on time and with the Vec I just need to get a computer that will talk to my Vec to add it back into the tune. An extra 60whp will sure wake up the modified ZR1 guys that have been chasing me the last few years.
