Got an email from the organization hosting the run. Unfortunately, they are not able to continue with this event mainly due to declining number of runners. That’s really a pity because I wanted to run it again and improve my time. Well, at least I did it once and in its last edition. BTW: this run was established back in the late 70’s, so it had quite some tradition and was absolutely unique among all running events.

Hope, they are able to bring it back in the not so far future…

I will likely be in Germany (Celle) for business in a couple of weeks. I am going to really try to get stay the weekend and go for a lap at the ring.

To run my first lap. Running it you get a real good impression of all the steep sections. Now that I know each corner and bump I have to bring the Snake next time. ..😊
