I would contact a car dealer in the area. If you have a good relationship with a service manager, I would start there.I’m not in Houston but I recently did a lot research into getting a 4 post lift. There are a lot of variables to consider and not all 4-post lifts are the same although they all do look pretty darn similar. Be sure to check all the dimensions of the lift and how that footprint lays out in your garage. I narrowed my selection down greatly by doing this.
I’ve purchased and personally installed four Direct Lift brand lifts in the past. It’s not hard but you need the right equipment to move everything around.
This time I wanted to get someone to install for me. I finally settled on the Advantage Lift. They also own Backyard Buddy now. Like others, I assumed all the lifts are basically the same so one of the main reasons I picked Advantage is they actually had new lifts in stock. Two other companies had stopped accepting orders due to supply chain disruptions. To answer your specific question, the folks at Advantage connected me with a local installer they work with. The installer picked up the lift at the depot, delivered it and installed it. It wasn’t cheap but I’m very happy with the lift and the process. This lift is substantially more rugged and stable than my Direct Lifts. One other big advantage that is insignificant costwise is Advantage has aluminum ramps. Trust me, if you’ve ever had steel ramps you’ll appreciate aluminum ramps.
Bottom line, figure out what lift you want and then work with the supplier to have them direct you to someone they work with in your area. I’d be very surprised if they can’t help you. Happy to send you pictures of my setup if you want.
Good luck.

Yeah, I don’t want to do the install myself. they seem extremely heavy for me to be moving around without a team of people. there has to be a company in Houston that does this for residential property. But the good ole internet is failing me, or I am failing at internet again.

AES Sales

713-460-2088Most of the local dealers on the North side of town use them for install and service. Lots of the independant auto shops as well.
I got my Challenger lift from them. I have several friends that have purchased from them, both 2 and 4 post lifts. All had good experiences. They will do install but you’ll have to deal with electrical. They often have quality used units available. Good to work with. They did what they said when they said they would do it at the price quoted.
I also used them to move a lift for me once. Did great with that.

I see a ton of online companies basically selling the same 4 post lifts. Is there one that is distributed locally in houston, so I could pick it up myself and save on shipping? Is there an installer in houston?
